All payments must be in Canadian funds.
To Reserve a Unit
We accept housing charge deposits submitted in one of the following formats:
- Personal cheque, money order, bank draft, cashier’s or certified cheque, which will be immediately deposited when received
- Bank wire transfer (please provide a copy of the receipt and an additional $17.00 CAD to cover the wire service charge)
We do not accept credit cards, cash or interac transfers.
Whatever method you choose, you will be responsible for all bank charges incurred while making these transactions. This includes additional wire service charges (which sometimes happen) or NSF charges. Any and all bank charges are payable in addition to your housing charge.
Please make payments payable to: “University of Toronto New Faculty Housing.”
Cancellation: Housing charge deposits are not refundable, unless we are able to rent the unit to someone else with a similar occupancy date.
Subsequent Housing Charge Payments
All remaining housing charges are due on the first of every month and can be submitted in in one of the above acceptable formats, or by pre-authorized debit.
Unit Deposits for Student Families
Student Families moving from Charles Street to Huron-Sussex, should submit their deposit to the Admissions Office at Charles Street.
Once moved in, subsequent monthly housing charges are paid as stated above.
