Laundry Rooms Temporarily Closed  

The laundry rooms in both 30 and 35 Charles will be closed and will not be available for tenant use on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. 

This closure is necessary to clean laundry room ducts. 

Please make sure your belongings are removed from the laundry room before the room is locked at 6:00am.

Air Conditioner Installation – Book Your Appointment  

As outdoor temperatures begin to get warmer, consider scheduling an appointment to have your air conditioner installed sooner rather than later. All window mounted air conditioners must be installed and removed through the Residence Office at a cost paid for by residents. Last year there was a waitlist of several weeks to have an AC unit installed as only 8 requests can be accommodated per week. It is strictly prohibited for residents to install or remove an air conditioner themselves. 

The cost for instillation is $77.56 and the Residence Office can accept Canadian debit, cheque, bank draft, or money order for payment. For more information on Air Conditioners at Charles Street, please visit our website here or contact the Residence Office at operationscharles.ufh@utoronto.ca. 

April Unit Renovations at Charles Street 

For the month of April, the following floors will have units under renovation. Residents may hear noisy work from 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.
