Deadline Extended: A position on the 2024-2025 Residence Advisor team has opened and we’re looking for an eager Charles Street student resident to join the team! If you are a UFH resident that is a full-time U of T student, you are eligible for this Residence Advisor (RA) position for the 2024-2025 year. Reminder to Submit Notice to Vacate 60 Days Before Move-Out Date 

Residents are reminded that if they have finished their degree or are simply planning to move out of University Family Housing, they are required to submit their Notice to Vacate 60 days before the last day of the month they will be moving out on. For example, if you would like to vacate May 31st, your Notice to Vacate (signed by all lease holders) must be submitted to the Residence Office by March 31st. 

We are unable to accept Notices to Vacate after the deadline, so you are legally and financially obligated to pay rent to cover the full-time period following submitting notice.  

Upcoming deadlines to give 2 months’ notice by are as follows: 

  • Submit notice February 28, 2023, to move out April 30, 2023  
  • Submit notice March 31, 2023, to move out May 31, 2023  
  • Submit notice April 30, 2023, to move out June 30, 2023
