Embark on an exciting journey toward a greener future with our series of community events, showcasing how small mindful actions can collectively lead to remarkable environmental benefits. 

Session 1: Hazardous Waste Collection & Disposal

Wednesday, April 16, 6:30 – 8:00PM, Recreation Room, 35 CSW

Did you know that common household items like batteries, electronics, and cleaning supplies can be harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly? Bring them to us and we will dispose them for you! Items you can bring: Corrosive, Flammable, Explosive and Poisonous. Learn what hazardous waste you can bring by clicking here. Please DO NOT drop off medication, vitamins, syringes and medical sharps.

Session 2: Clothing Swap – Refresh & Reuse

Thursday, April 24, 6:30 – 8:00PM, Recreation Room, 35 CSW

Give your wardrobe a refresh—without spending a dime! Bring gently used clothing and swap them with others to promote sustainable fashion and reduce textile waste. It’s a fun and eco-friendly way to declutter, find new favourites and connect with your community. No clothes to swap? Come anyway and grab something new to you!

Session 3: High Park Cherry Blossoms & Zoo Tour (Registration Required)

Saturday, April 26, 9:00AM – 1:00PM, Start from Lobby at 35 CSW, TTC Ticket Provided. Register by April 23, 12:00PM.

Spring is in full bloom! Join us for a guided trip to High Park to witness Toronto’s famous cherry blossoms, enjoy the beauty of nature, and explore the High Park Zoo. This relaxing and scenic outing is perfect for unwinding, learning about local ecology, and connecting with fellow residents. Come prepared and make some memories! We will go Rain or Shine!
