Become a Charles Street Residence Advisor! A position on the 2024-2025 Residence Advisor team has opened and we’re looking for an eager Charles Street student resident to join the team! If you are a University Family Housing resident that is a full-time U of T student, you are eligible to be a Residence Advisor (RA). The RA work term is from February 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025. Register to participate in a 6 week educational series where participants will practice their conversational English skills with fellow UFH peers. We accept all levels of English users and these sessions are a safe space for those who want to expand and grow their skills in English speaking.
We will be covering topics such as:
When signing up, you are agreeing to attend all 6 sessions. There are limited spots for this program and registration is first come, first serve. Those who sign up after will be put on a wait list and will be contacted if a spot opens up.
If more than 1 class is missed, you will be asked to give up your spot, and it will be given to the next person on the wait list.
Sessions will take place in the Drop-in Center in 30 Charles St. W, and if you require child minding, there will be a space in the same room, where drop-in staff will be engaging with your children. You MUST be present in the English conversation session for your child to be invited to use the drop-in services during that time.
