Annual Fire Alarm Testing/Inspection

To ensure this year’s testing of in-suite fire alarm speakers and horns is completed safely and with minimal interruption to residents, we have consulted with Toronto Fire Services, University of Toronto Fire Prevention, and Environmental Health and Safety. We are diligently following the current public health orders set by the provincial government, but we were advised by Toronto Fire Services that they are unable to waive/make exemptions to testing requirements legislated by the Ontario Fire Code. Therefore, property owners/managers are responsible to find a solution with their residents to test all in-suite devices.
