Apartment Transfer Process Now on StarRez!
On December 1, 2022, University Family Housing announced our commitment to overhaul the paper-based transfer process and relocate it to StarRez. In this announcement, we detailed the immediate changes residents could expect, as well as milestones for the project.
As we worked to move the transfer process to StarRez, we engaged with residents at University Family Housing and the Tenant Executive Board to test the new transfer application. Together, we identified and addressed any issues or concerns raised by residents and refined the application based on the insights provided.
We are excited to announce that the apartment transfer application process is now available on StarRez! It is designed to provide a seamless, user-friendly experience for residents who are seeking to move into a larger apartment unit. Applicants can now review and update their personal information, upload documentation, and choose apartment preferences with ease. In addition to this, applicants can view their waitlist position in real time through Star Portal at any given time.
If you are currently on the waitlist or applied prior to this rollout, you will also be able to check your status on the waitlist on Star Portal moving forward.
