Visit the Wellesley and Innes Community Centres info tables in the 35 Charles Lobby to learn about a wide range of programs for all ages. Friendly staff will assist with registration, provide details about sports sections and lessons for children and adults, and share schedules for FREE drop-in programs including swimming, basketball, volleyball, fitness, and more.

Caring for Your Child’s Mental Health with SickKids Experts | November 13 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am

This ONLINE session is designed for parents and family caregivers who want to better understand and support their child’s mental health. Specialists from SickKids will share practical tools and approaches to help you respond with care, reduce stress, and build supportive connections at home. Gain expert guidance and strategies to foster your child’s emotional well-being in a warm and informative setting.

Family Potting Workshop at Gardiner Museum | November 15 @ 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Join the Gardiner Museum for a hands-on family clay workshop in the Laura Dinner & Richard Rooney Community Clay Studio. Designed for all ages, this informal 2-hour session invites families to explore hand-building and decorating techniques while creating unique clay sculptures inspired by the Museum’s diverse collections.

Note: This is a subsidized family program. Each participant is asked to cover a $10 materials fee (including clay and kiln-firing costs). To ensure everyone has a chance to participate, there is a limit of 2 participants per household (parent + child, or resident + resident). Participants must be 12 years of age or older.

Research Fair (Paid Research Opportunities at U of T) | November 16 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

As part of Health & Wellness Month, join us at Recreation Room 35 Charles to meet student researchers and learn about paid research studies involving children, families, international students, and immigrant communities. Residents can voluntarily participate, earn compensation, and contribute to valuable research, while researchers connect directly with the community.
