Maintenance and Operations Updates

Change in On-site Maintenance Hours

Please be advised that on-site maintenance hours for weekends between September 23rd, 2023 – November 5th, 2023, will be from 7:30am-3:30pm.

Podium Restoration Repairs

Please be advised the podium area located in front of 35 Charles will be undergoing restoration work. This work will begin on Monday, September 25th, 2023, and will be completed in approximately two weeks.

The scope of work will consist of power washing and jackhammering. The project will begin with the use of a power washer to remove debris. This will be followed by the jackhammering work.

A perimeter fence will be setup around the affected areas. This will allow for the work to be done without closing the podium and allowing for continued pedestrian access.

The scheduled working hours for this project are Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm. Building residents may experience construction noise, and vibrations during work hours. Moreover, residents on the north side of 35 Charles may wish to close their windows to avoid potential odors or sounds. Pedestrian pathways will be maintained, however, residents should be mindful of equipment use, and works nearby, while passing through the area.

Your co-operation and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Bike Rack and Cage Clean Up

Please be advised of the following dates for bike rack and cage clean-up:

All bicycles (and accessories) locked to the racks outside the entrance of 35 Charles Street West, and the two racks located on the A-Level of the parking garage (A-36 & A-129) must be removed by October 10th, 2023, at 9:00 am

All bicycles (and accessories) within the cage located on A-Level of the 35 Charles Parking Garage (North/West Corner) must be removed by October 17th, 2023, at 9:00 am

Any bicycles (and accessories) found locked to the racks after 9:00 am on October 10th or within the cage after 9:00 am on October 17th will have their locks cut off and will be removed and disposed of.

This is necessary to identify any abandoned bicycles, create more parking spaces for our residents, and clean garbage and debris from inside the cage and racks. Residents are encouraged to remove their bikes as soon as possible to avoid heavy elevator traffic closer to the clean-up dates.

A reminder to all residents: the cage and racks are for daily use and are not intended to be used as a long-term storage solution.

Residents may continue use of the noted cage and racks any time after 5:00 pm on the dates noted.

Thank you for your co-operation.
