UFH’s Smoke Free Policy
Please remember anyone who moved in after December 1, 2012, is on a non-smoking lease and is prohibited from smoking in their apartment or on their balcony, as are all family members and visitors. Smoking is also prohibited in public areas of the building (e.g., the Rooftop Garden, playground) following the University of Toronto Smoke-Free policy. The term “Smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, burning or carrying any lighted cigar, cigarette, e-cigarette, vaporizer, bong, joint, or smoking tobacco, cannabis, or any drug in any form is prohibited in any manner or in any form. Please report smoking concerns to security. You may also contact communications.ufh@utoronto.ca for additional support and smoking cessation resources.
