Toronto Public Library Card Delays
For any residents that have applied for a library card by submitting a form outside the Residence Life Office (2nd floor, 35 Charles) please be advised that Toronto Public Library (TPL) is delayed in processing these requests due to their recent data breach. If you have submitted a form recently and have not received your card yet, please email communications.ufh@utoronto.ca with your name and unit number so that we can follow up with TPL once their system is back online.
Bulletin Board Updates
Please excuse the appearance of our bulletin boards over the following weeks as we work to update the boards’ backing and replace damaged posters. Thank you for your patience while we make these necessary updates!
Parcel Delivery Safety Reminder
With the holiday season fast approaching, many residents may be expecting more packages and deliveries. Our security team continues to monitor for people entering the building without using their FOBs and to request verification of identity for all delivery personnel who enter the buildings. As a reminder, to minimize theft, we’ve been advised by Campus Safety to suggest residents use a ‘ship to store’ option for deliveries. Additionally, the Penguin pickup located in the Koffler building at 214 College St. is free to use for Students, Staff & Faculty of U of T. For more information on Penguin Pickup, click here.
