Mandatory Fire Drill at 30 and 35 Charles: Please be advised a mandatory Fire Drill will be conducted at both 30 & 35 Charles Street West on October 15th, 2024, starting at approximately 10am. Reminder to Submit Notice to Vacate 60 Days Before Move-Out Date 

Residents are reminded that if they have finished their degree or are simply planning to move out of University Family Housing, they are required to submit their Notice to Vacate 60 days before the last day of the month they will be moving out on. For example, if you would like to vacate July 31st, your Notice to Vacate (signed by all lease holders) must be submitted to the Residence Office by May 31st. 

We are unable to accept Notices to Vacate after the deadline, so you are legally and financially obligated to pay rent to cover the full-time period following submitting notice.  

Upcoming deadlines to give 2 months’ notice by are as follows:  

  • Submit notice May 31, 2023, to move out July 31, 2023  
  • Submit notice June 30, 2023, to move out August 31, 2023 
  • Submit notice July 31, 2023, to move out September 30th
