Air Conditioner Installation Policy
All window mounted air conditioners must be installed and removed through the Residence Office at a cost paid for by residents. Please contact the Residence Office to book an appointment – this is required to ensure safe, secure and consistent installation.
It is strictly prohibited to install or remove an air conditioner yourself – this is outlined in your lease agreement and is not negotiable.
As outdoor temperatures begin to get warmer, please schedule your appointment to ensure your air conditioner is installed and ready to go. UFH is not responsible for the condition of the residents’ air conditioner unit; therefore, it is advised that residents ensure the unit is in good operating condition before the window installation date.
