Step 4

Preface Page

On the Preface page, you will be given additional information on applying for a transfer.

If you have not lived in Charles Street for at least 12 months, you will see a red notice at the top of the page stating that you are not eligible for a transfer.

Step 5

Confirm Personal Information

You will be prompted to click through several screens before landing on the Personal Information page. This page shows the information we have on file for you and your partner/spouse.

Updating Your Information
Updating a phone number can be done through ACORN. Any information to be updated about your spouse/partner must be done by contacting the UFH Admissions Office.

Step 6

Baby’s Due Date or Adoption

The next page is the “Baby’s Due Date or Date or Birth or Adoption” page.

Here you input the date and upload documentation of proof of adoption or birth. It is not required to submit documentation at this point, but is helpful for Admissions Staff if/when you are offered a transfer.

Step 7

Apartment Preferences

Next, you will be able to select your apartment preferences including building and unit location/direction.

You have up to four apartment preferences that you can input.

If you are interested in applying to transfer to Huron-Sussex, you can select this as an option here as well. Please note that the only apartment options for student families in Huron-Sussex are large one-bedroom units.

Once you are happy with your apartment preferences, you can click “Submit Application” – you will be taken to a page to review all information before fully submitting your application.

Step 8

View Your Application Status

Finally, you will be transported to the page where you can see your application status.

You can visit this page at any point to view your application status and your position on the waitlist by selecting “Application Status” on the drop down.

You are also able to cancel your application on this page – see next step.

After You Apply

Canceling Your Application

Should you want to cancel your application at any point, you can do so on the Application Status page and selecting the drop down option.
