Parking Garage Power Washing

please be advised that power washing/sweeping of the underground parking garage floors, walls, and pillars, at 35 Charles Street, is scheduled for the following dates between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm:

• Monday May 30th (Parking Level A)
• Tuesday May 31st (Parking Level B)
• Wednesday June 1st (Parking Level C)

It is strongly recommended that parkers remove their vehicles from the parking garage by 8:30am, on the date their parking level is scheduled for power sweeping/washing. Those who fail to remove their vehicles will not have their parking spaces cleaned and risk potential water or debris damage to their vehicles during the power washing. Please be advised that in accordance with the parking addendum, University Family Housing is not liable for any damage that may occur to vehicles that are parked in the underground garage.

Additionally, all area drains, trench drains, and catch basins are scheduled for cleaning. Some vehicles will be required to be moved to facilitate this drain cleaning. Notice will be sent to each individual parker to temporarily move their vehicle to another spot within the garage. Lastly, entrance and exit trench drain cleaning will result in temporary ramp closures to accommodate the cleaning. Security staff will be positioned on the ramps and in the garage to safely direct traffic.
