Community Life Updates

There’s Nothing Like the Taste from Home

The holidays are a time for cherished family recipes—your grandma’s famous roast, or the special cookies you bake with your siblings. These dishes are more than just food—they’re a taste of tradition, a reminder of laughter-filled meals, and the stories that bring us together.

Now, you can share the magic of your family’s special recipe with the U of T community!

Submit your recipe by January 3, 2025, and it could be featured in a special dinner service at the Food Services Dining Commons. If your recipe is selected, you and a friend will enjoy the dinner for free—and your recipe and story could be highlighted on our social media channels and website!

How to submit:
Visit uoft.me/submit-home-recipe and include:

  • The recipe name
  • A full list of ingredients and instructions
  • A story about what makes this recipe special
  • Any photos you’d like to share

We can’t wait to bring your family’s traditions to campus and share the taste of home with everyone.
