Back to School Festival (Parent and Child, ages 4-12) 

Sunday, September 8 | 10:00am – 12:00pm | Rooftop Garden at 30 Charles  

UFH is collaborating with YouthFund Canada to host a fun-filled back-to-school party for their residents. Join us for free books from Children’s Book Bank, school supplies, nut-free snacks, and outdoor games. Residents will have time to connect with other families and exchange tips and tricks to be ready for the school year. Registration is required. 

Reading Circle Time with TPL Librarian (Parent & Child, ages 0-5) 

Thursday September 12th | 11:00am – 11:30am | Drop-In Centre 

Meet one of the Librarians from the Toronto Public Library (TPL) at the Drop-in Centre. Come hear songs and stories from the librarian and learn more about the activities that are happening there. No registration required! 

Outdoor Play (Parent & Child, ages 0-5) 

Tuesday and Thursdays September | 9:30am – 12:00 pm | Rooftop and Playground at 35 

The Rooftop Garden and the Playground at 35 Charles is open for some fun outdoor play! Outdoor play on Tuesdays will be at the 35 Charles new playground and Thursdays on the Rooftop Garden. We’ll have activities outdoor so please be prepared to have a great time. Please dress appropriately for outdoor play. This program begins on Thursday, September 5^th. No registration required! 

Visit the FCO at Orientation Events  

August 30 – September 19 

Visit the Family Care Office (FCO) in person at various Orientation events throughout September. Drop by to learn more about the services and support offered to students and potentially receive some freebies!
