Become a Charles Street Residence Advisor! A position on the 2024-2025 Residence Advisor team has opened and we’re looking for an eager Charles Street student resident to join the team! If you are a University Family Housing resident that is a full-time U of T student, you are eligible to be a Residence Advisor (RA). The RA work term is from February 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025. Drop-In Centre and Free Store Closures 

  • The Drop-In Centre will be closed beginning on Monday, August 22 and re-opening on Tuesday, September 6th 
  • The Free Store will be closed from Wednesday, August 24th and re-opening on Wednesday, September 7th 

Family Care Office Event 

Family Event: Webb’s First Look at the Universe and a Summer Sky Adventure for Kids 

  • Date: Friday, September 2nd, 2022 
  • Time: 2:00 P.M. – 3:30 P.M. 
  • Location: AB114, 50 St George St – please enter via the Ursula Franklin doors 

Join the Family Care Office as they learn about James Webb Space Telescope images, followed by a guided solar observation through the Astronomy department’s telescopes. Open to UofT students, staff, and faculty with children starting Grade 2 in September up to Grade 9. Accompanied with one adult only please.

Family Care Office Location Update 

Please note the Family Care Office has moved from the Koffler Student Services building to 215 Huron, 6th floor. In early September, weekly on-site Family Care hours will resume from 2pm – 3pm every Thursday in the lobby of 35 Charles.
