30 Charles Hot and Cold Water Shut Off 

Please be advised that the hot and cold water will be turned off on Thursday, August 25th, 2022, between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (approx.) 

This service interruption is necessary to replace riser isolation valves. 

The laundry room will also remain closed, but residents are free to use the laundry room and washrooms located on the 2nd floor at 35 Charles St., West. 

Please Note: Keep taps closed to avoid a flood when the water is turned back on. Floods have occurred this way in the past, damaging many units and resident belongings. Residents will be held financially responsible for damages if a flood occurs in their unit. 

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your ongoing patience. 

Damage Caused by Prohibited Appliances 

Residents are reminded that portable dishwashers and laundry machines are prohibited in our residence. 

Recently, a prohibited appliance was discovered because a resident informed our operations team that water was entering through their ceiling, as the unit above them was flooding due to this appliance. These appliances can cause severe damages to not only the building, but to your fellow residents’ personal belongings.  

Although it may feel convenient, please understand the impact these appliances can have on your neighbours. If you have one of these appliances, it is imperative that you stop using these prohibited machines and that it leaves your unit immediately. It must not be sold within the building. If you are using a prohibited appliance in your unit, you are in direct violation of your lease agreement.
