Notice of 2024 Rent Increase

As communicated on April 8th, 2024, the rent at University Family Housing is subject to an increase for all units on September 1 of each year. The rent increase effective September 1, 2024, is 3.5% for current tenants. Additionally parking rates will increase from $105.00 to $110.00 on the same date.

In accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act, tenants will receive an N2 form, Notice of Rent Increase, at least 90 days before the date of rent increase. The distribution of notices will occur in the coming weeks.

We are committed to supporting tenants who are experiencing financial challenges. If you require assistance, we encourage you to visit U of T’s Financial Aid website or speak to your registrar about potential financial assistance options such as loans, bursaries or scholarships.

If you require further assistance or support, or if you have any questions about the rent increase, please do not hesitate to contact us at operations.ufh@utoronto.ca

Food Deliveries Left in Lobby Removal

Please be advised that food deliveries should be brought directly to unit doors and not be left in the lobbies for pickup. Leaving food in our lobbies is a pest control concern and to mitigate this risk, security will be disposing of any food deliveries left unattended in our lobbies. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding on this matter.
