Community Life Program Closures Over Holiday Break
Our Community Life programs will be closed inclusively from Sunday, December 22, 2024 to Monday, January 6, 2025.
Holiday Closure:

- Free Store (Not accepting any donations)
- Iyenga Yoga and Wellness Programs
- Children’s Special Programs

Become a Charles Street Residence Advisor!
A position on the 2024-2025 Residence Advisor team has opened and we’re looking for an eager Charles Street student resident to join the team!
If you are a University Family Housing resident that is a full-time U of T student, you are eligible to be a Residence Advisor (RA). The RA work term is from February 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025. Learn more and apply on our website by January 10, 2025, at 4:00pm.
UTSU Dollar for Child Care 2024-2025
The UTSU is excited to announce that applications for the Dollar for Child Care Grant are still open for 2024-25. If you are an undergraduate student with dependents and you are pursuing part-time or full-time studies at the University of Toronto St. George campus, then you may be eligible.
The UTSU Dollar for Child Care Grant helps to offset costs associated with childcare for student families. The grant can be used toward expenses related to children’s programming, childcare or other costs related to your having time to complete assignments, study or attend classes.

Child Care Information (Parent & Infant, 0-18 months)

Have questions regarding childcare and don’t know where to get information? Find some answers to your question with Helen our University Family Care Office. She will discuss such topics as childcare wait lists, subsidy and more. This information session will be in our Drop-in Centre. Program registration will start Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
Move and Groove (Parent & Child, ages 2-4)
Thursdays 2:45pm – 4:15pm | Several dates from January – April | Drop-In Centre
Develop hand and eye coordination along with motor skills as we jump, run, move and groove during gross motor play. Young children will enjoy a variety of engaging activities and play while practicing emerging language, social and gross motor skills. For more information and to register, click here.
