Our offices will be closed for the holidays from December 24, 2024, to January 3, 2025, inclusive. Residence and Admissions staff will be available on Monday, December 30, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm by phone, email, or in person at the Residence Office, Suite 102. Please note that the Admissions Office will remain closed. Security will be available throughout the closure and can be contacted at 416-729-1592.

January rent can be paid in person on December 30 during the limited operating hours or on January 6 when the office re-opens. Payments placed in the drop-off box outside the Residence Office during the closure will be processed as of January 6.

Residence Advisor office hours over the Holiday Closure take place on Friday, December 27 and Friday, January 3rd from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Our Community Life Team has prepared some free take-home craft kits for everything from basket weaving to beading, which residents can pick up during these times and enjoy at their leisure.

With the holiday season approaching we wanted to also remind residents of Toronto Police and Campus Safety recommendations they can take for parcel deliveries, including:

  • Be home for your delivery or reschedule for a time when you are.
  • Deliver to an alternate location, for example, your office.
  • Use a courier hub, such as Penguin Pickup, Canada Post, or Amazon Pickup.
  • Obtain a signature upon delivery.
  • Sign up for delivery alerts.

We encourage residents to file a report with Campus Safety should they experience parcel theft. They can be reached by calling their non-emergency line: 416-978-2323.

For emergencies, Campus Safety can be reached at 416-978-2222 or 911. We also recommend community members store Campus Safety’s numbers in their phone and install the Campus Safety App.

The team at University Family Housing wish you and your family a safe and happy break, we look forward to seeing you in the new year!
