Playground Revitalization Project Set to Begin 

We are pleased to announce that construction of the new Charles Street playground is scheduled to begin Monday, March 11^th!  

Construction will take place from 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with noise and dust being kept at a minimum. Residents may hear some noise from running equipment, specifically those that live on the south side of 35 Charles. We expect this project to be completed and ready for resident use by summer 2024. 

During construction, access to the bike room will be maintained. The existing playground will now be unavailable for resident use until construction is complete. We encourage residents to use the City of Toronto’s Parks & Community Recreation Centres Map to identify other playgrounds and parks in the neighbourhood. 

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked through supply chain issues and inclement weather before we could begin construction on this important community project.
