Mental Health Awareness Month at UFH
Did you know that May is Mental Health Awareness Month?
Take care of yourself and recharge after a busy semester. We’ve got a series of events throughout the month of May to help support residents’ mental health and wellbeing, including:
- Massage Breaks
- Basket Weaving
- MoveU Cardio Dance Party
- Games Night
- Sunshine Therapy Dogs

UFH Programs for Children 3 and Under
Music Circle (Parent & Child, ages 0-2)
May 14 and 28 (2 sessions) | 2:45pm – 4:00pm |Drop-In Centre
Sing some songs, learn some rhymes, and make some moves! Interacting with your child through music helps develop early literacy skills. This is a recurring 2 week program. Registration is required.
Make and Take (Parent & Child, ages 0 – 3)
May 16 and 30 (2 sessions) | 2:45pm – 4:00pm | Drop-In Centre
Come join us to create some easy sensory activities that you and your child can “make and take” home! Each activity will help develop and enhance children’s sensory awareness. This is a recurring 2 week program. Registration is required.
