Become a Charles Street Residence Advisor! A position on the 2024-2025 Residence Advisor team has opened and we’re looking for an eager Charles Street student resident to join the team! If you are a University Family Housing resident that is a full-time U of T student, you are eligible to be a Residence Advisor (RA). The RA work term is from February 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025. Spring Rooftop Festival Tomorrow! 

Saturday, June 10th | 11:00am – 2:30pm | 3rd floor Rooftop Garden, 30 Charles Street West 

Tomorrow is the annual Spring Rooftop Festival! This is the first large outdoor event of the year and is an amazing opportunity for families to gather, enjoy some refreshments, play games, and socialize in the garden on the 3rd floor of 30 Charles Street West.  

To prevent crowding, we ask that residents come during the times noted below for their building: 

  • 30 Charles – 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.  
  • 35 Charles – 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. 

Charles Street BikeChain Tune Up Event  

Saturday, June 17th | 10:00am – 2:00pm | 35 Charles Street West 

Save the date! Saturday, June 17th UofT’s Bikechain will be onsite at 35 Charles for a bike tune-up clinic. Cyclists of all ages are invited to bring their bikes for a 15-minute tune-up appointment between 10 am and 2 pm. Register here – spots are limited and fill quickly, so act fast to secure your spot!  

Additionally, you can stop by from 11 am to 1 pm to make and enjoy a smoothie using one of Foodshare Toronto’s adult/youth and child sized peddle powered bike blenders
