Maintenance and Operations Updates
30 and 35 Charles Exterior Window Cleaning
Please be advised that staff annual exterior window cleaning project for 2025 will commence on June 9th, 2025. This work will be done from the exterior of the building, using a bosun chair (harnessed chair suspended by ropes). The workers will not be accessing your balcony to clean windows. The balcony door and bedroom windows that are accessible from balconies, are the resident’s responsibility to clean.
The window cleaning is scheduled to take place on Monday June 9th – Friday June 27th (approximately) between the hours of: 9:00am – 6:00pm daily, including Saturdays
Please be advised that completion of this project on schedule is entirely weather permitting. Heavy winds or rain will cause delays which may affect the start and/or completion dates of this work.
Please be prepared for workers to be visible on the exterior of the building during the project. Please take any precautions to maintain your privacy for the duration of the work.

30 Charles Elevators: Planned Outage
Please be advised that starting Monday, June 9, 2025, we will begin a scheduled preventative maintenance project related to a parts recall on a sub-component of the 30 Charles elevators.
While there is no immediate safety concern related to the recall, the work is important to ensure the continued reliability of the elevator system. This repair comes at the recommendation of our elevator maintenance provider.
What to Expect:
- Work will take place one elevator at a time
- Each elevator will be out of service for two days
- Work will occur Monday to Friday only
- No work will be done on weekends or holidays
To help reduce delays and ease congestion during busy times, no elevator bookings will occur between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
We recognize that in addition to the inconvenience the current work represents, the timing of these repairs relative to the completion of the elevator modernization project may also be a source of frustration. We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation while this necessary work is completed.
June Unit Renovations at Charles Street
For the month of June, the following floors will have units under renovation. Residents may hear noisy work from 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Saturday.
