30 Charles Building Wide Hot & Cold Water Shutdown

Please be advised that hot and cold water will be temporarily shut off to all units and laundry rooms on Tuesday, June 17, from 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM to allow for necessary maintenance on the domestic water tank lining.

The laundry room will also be closed during this maintenance. Residents are welcome to use the laundry and washroom facilities located on the 2nd floor of 35 Charles St. West.

To avoid flooding when the water is restored, please ensure that all taps are turned off during the shutdown. In past incidents, open taps have caused significant water damage to multiple units. Please note that residents may be held financially responsible for any damage caused by flooding from their unit.

35 Charles Toronto Fire Services Inspection

City of Toronto Fire Services will be conducting a complete building inspection, which will include access to randomly selected apartment units throughout the building. Access for Toronto Fire Services staff will be provided on:

Tuesday June 17th, 2025
From 9:30 am to 2:00 pm (Approximately)

The Inspection will consist of the following: A physical walk through of the building, including suite access, selected by Toronto Fire Services staff, to confirm operation of ‘in suite’ devices such as smoke alarms, building fire alarm devices in the suite, suite doors and door closing devices. Residents will also receive a notice of entry indicating this entry date and time.
