Point-of-Sale Machine Now Available in the Residence Office

 When we asked residents if they would be interested in using a POS machine or online payment option on the Charles Street Annual Resident Survey, over 80% of responses said Yes. We are excited to announce that as of Monday, June 13, 2022 residents will be able to make payments using Canadian debit (credit cards not currently accepted) on our point-of-sale (POS) machine which will be located at our Residence Office! 

During office hours (9:00 am – 4:45pm, Monday – Friday), residents can now pay for items using Canadian debit, including: 

• Monthly rent   
• Parking   
• Small balances owing on account  
• Replacement laundry cards  
• Key replacement  
• Lock replacement  
• Replacement FOBs  
• AC removal and installation fees  
• Damages  
• Key deposit

Please note that photo identification will be required when paying for items in person at the point-of-sale machine. This is required for our staff to verify that the Canadian debit card belongs to the person paying and that they are a leaseholder.
