Flooding and Debris from Balconies

This is a reminder to residents to please be mindful when cleaning balconies as water and debris can negatively affect those living below them. Please do not hose off your balconies for an extended period as we have had reports of floods on lower balconies. Additionally, when sweeping or clearing debris, please do not allow the debris to fall from your balcony. 

These actions can cause damage to residents’ personal property and the buildings, and potentially cause injuries to those below. Residents will be held responsible for any damage they cause. 

Laundry Room Cash to Card Machines Replaced

As of Wednesday July 6^th, the cash to card machines in both laundry rooms at 30 and 35 Charles have been replaced. We appreciate residents informing us of the problems they have been facing with the machines over the past few weeks. We will continue to closely monitor these new machines to ensure there are no functionality issues.  

Should you continue to experience any difficulty using the cash to card machines, please let our Operations staff know at operations.ufh@utoronto.ca. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we worked to solve this issue. 

30 Charles Floor Waxing  

Please be advised that our cleaning staff will be waxing the 3^rd floor hallway at 30 Charles on Wednesday, July 13^th from 7am-10am. Once applied to the floor, the wax takes 15-20 minutes to dry, and we kindly ask that residents avoid walking on the hallway floors as they dry. The laundry room at 30 Charles will also be closed during this three-hour time period.
