Even More Youth Programming for UFH!
We’re so glad that residents are enjoying our recreational and educational programs this winter! With most programs already full, our team is working to provide more options for residents to join in on the fun. We’re excited to announce two more youth programs on our event calendar!
Saturday Financial Literacy (ages 8 – 12)
Join our Financial Literacy workshops for a journey into the foundations of money. Through interactive games and activities, you will get to explore the basics of saving, budgeting, and making informed financial choices. This is an opportunity to have fun-filled learning while building confidence with money.
Saturday English Tutoring (ages 13 – 17)
Our program blends the excitement of a book club with the support of a tutoring circle. Our primary goal is to provide high school students with writing strategies. In addition, we will be engaged in weekly discussions on a variety of topics, thus offering students the unique opportunity to learn and socialize with their peers.
Our Program is free-of-charge and reserved for UFH families only. Commitment is the key. Please only sign up for this program if you intend to be at every weekly class or most of the classes.
The registration starts Monday, January 29, 2024 at 9 am. Please be mindful that a recreation account is needed to register, and the account approval process on our system takes 2-3 days, so creating your account before registration opens is advised.
