30 Charles Building-wide Hot & Cold Water Shutdown

Please be advised that the hot and cold water supply to all units will be shut off on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (approx.).

This emergency service interruption is necessary to replace isolation valves. The laundry room will also remain closed.

Please Note: Keep taps closed to avoid a flood when the water is turned back on. Floods have occurred this way in the past, damaging many units and resident belongings. Residents will be held financially responsible for damages if a flood occurs in their unit.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your ongoing patience.

Monthly Generator Testing

The emergency generators will be tested in each building at the times noted below on January 15, 2025.

• 35 Charles: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• 30 Charles: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.

The elevator service will be interrupted for approximately 30 minutes in each building due to this mandatory testing. Residents will have to use the staircases to exit and enter the buildings during the times noted.

Residents on the north side of 30 Charles may wish to close their windows during the testing period due to generator exhaust.

Entry & Exit during testing:

• 30 Charles: West staircase
• 35 Charles: East staircase beside Daycare (St. Nicholas Street)

January Unit Renovations at Charles Street

For the month of January, the following floors will have units under renovation. Residents may hear noisy work from 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Saturday.
