Residence Advisor Office Hours
The Residence Advisors will be holding office hours every Wednesday from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at the Residence Life Centre at 35 Charles Street West Suite 209. This is a great opportunity for residents to stop by and talk in person if they have any questions, need assistance, or just want to chat. Feel free to drop by during this time for support with any concerns you may have.
Mindful Pregnancy and Postpartum
September 4,11,18,25 | 7:00pm – 9:00pm | Virtual
This supportive program is designed to guide expecting and new parents through the transformative journey of pregnancy and early parenthood. The program covers essential topics such as labor signs, pain relief options, birth plans, postpartum changes, etc. This program offers practical tools and a nurturing community to help parents navigate the physical and emotional changes with calm and confidence. Back to School Festival (Parent and Child, ages 4-12)
Sunday, September 8 | 10:00am – 12:00pm | Rooftop Garden at 30 Charles
UFH is collaborating with YouthFund Canada to host a fun-filled back-to-school party for their residents. Join us for free books from Children’s Book Bank, school supplies, nut-free snacks, and outdoor games. Residents will have time to connect with other families and exchange tips and tricks to be ready for the school year. Registration is required.
Family Bus Trip to Chudleigh’s Apple Farm (All ages)
Saturday, September 21 | 9:00am – 5:00pm | Meet at outside of 35 CSW
It’s time for a fun-filled trip to an apple orchard in Milton, an hour away from Toronto. We will hop on a school bus together and enjoy farm experiences: nature trails, play areas, farm animals, and tractor rides. This trip requires an admission fee, and once registered and paid, the fee is non-refundable. At the farm you can choose to buy your own APPLE PICKING package at your convenience.
