Items in Hallways
With fall quickly approaching, we would like to remind residents that no items should be left in the hallways outside their units. This includes decor, such as pumpkins and door mats, as well as strollers, shoes, and all other items.
As per the Ontario Fire Code, all hallways are fire exits and these items pose a safety concern by creating an obstruction that may impede residents’ ability to safely exit the building as well as emergency personnel’s ability to respond. Beyond safety concerns, leaving items in the hall creates pest issues, prevents proper cleaning of public areas, and leaves residents vulnerable to theft.
Please help keep our community safe and tidy by bringing your items inside!
