RE: 730 Yonge Retail and Residential Improvements – Panel Replacement Work
Dear Residential/Retail Stakeholders:
Please be advised that a contractor will be removing and reworking the existing fibre reinforced concrete panels on the exterior façade of the Retail portion of 730 Yonge St. The work should have a minimal impact on the tenants of tenants on the building in terms of noise and disruption.

The contractor will commence mobilization on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, and the project is expected to span approximately eight weeks. The scope of work includes the removal of all panels along the building’s perimeter using a scissor lift. Traffic control personnel will be present to ensure that sidewalks remain open and accessible. Once removed, the panels will be reinstalled in a similar manner.
Currently, it is anticipated that the support structure behind the panels will not require replacement, thereby avoiding any noisy activities. Should this situation change, we will promptly provide updates to all stakeholders.
The work will take place along Balmuto and Charles St, with a smaller portion at the Yonge St main entrance to the Retail Area.

We will keep you informed as the work progresses.
If immediate assistance is required to attend to an emergency, the University Campus Police can be contacted at 416-978-2222.
