30 & 35 Charles Electrical Cleaning: Planned Power Outages

Monday, September 22nd and Wednesday September 24th from 11:00pm to 2:00am

Please be advised that 30 and 35 Charles will experience planned power outages to facilitate electrical equipment cleaning. These shutdowns are scheduled for Monday, September 22nd, 2025, at 35 Charles and Wednesday, September 24th at 30 Charles from approximately 11:00pm – 2:00am.

Emergency generator power will be used for one elevator and some emergency lighting, such as select corridor and stairwell fixtures, once the main power source is shut down for the building. Domestic water supply equipment and any HVAC systems (kitchen and bathroom exhaust) will be shut down.

This outage will also affect all units, the building’s FOB system, and garage doors. To accommodate residents,?the garage doors will be opened and powered off prior to the shutdown to allow entry and exit. Security will keep these areas secure, while also managing lobby access, and providing a fire watch. During these outages the meeting rooms at the alternate building will also be made available to residents who require Wi-Fi or an electrical outlet.

The UFH Operations team will be on site and closely monitoring the shutdown. This scheduled work is subject to change depending on factors that arise during the scope of the work, for which we will do our best to communicate updates.

Scheduled Rogers Infrastructure & Internet Interruption

Thursday September 25th, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00pm.

Please be advised that Rogers Cable Communications Inc. has advised us they will be performing work that will cause a temporary outage to Cable TV, Internet, and Home Phone services at 30 Charles Street West on Thursday September 25th, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00pm.

This work will only affect Roger’s customers. The Wi-Fi service in the 3rd floor meeting room at 30CSW will also be unavailable during this time.
To support residents during this interruption, the recreation room at 35 Charles Street will be open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with Wi-Fi available in the room.
