Heating System Start Up Monitoring
As we transition into the cooler season, UFH Operations want to assure residents that they are closely monitoring outdoor temperatures in collaboration with the U of T Building Engineers to determine the appropriate time to activate the heating system.
It is a requirement to maintain an ambient temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 Celsius) throughout the day and night from September 15 until June 1.?
The Operations team is actively tracking weather forecasts and indoor conditions. The central hydronic heating system will be turned on as soon as outdoor temperatures consistently indicate a risk of falling below the required indoor threshold
