Haunted Halloween (All Ages)
October 29 | 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm | 3rd floor of 30 Charles
Our yearly UFH fun-filled tradition is here! Put on your favourite Halloween costume and dive into the spooky festivities, including: an all-ages, spooky tour through our “Haunted House”, snacks, crafts, face painting, Trick-or-Treat giveaways, dance party and more! No Registration required.
UFH Blue Jays World Series Watch Party

Join us to watch the Jays play in the World Series! We’re hosting watch parties for several games. This is a drop-in event. We hope to see you there! Please see our website for dates, time and location. Go Jays Go!
Game Times and Locations
Celebrate the Jays at U of T’s World Series Watch Parties!
Toronto is alive with World Series energy — and U of T is right in the middle of it. We’re turning Front Campus into a giant outdoor watch party, livestreaming every game on a massive LED screen across from Convocation Hall. Join students, alumni, faculty and friends to cheer on the team and celebrate this historic moment together.
Event details:
- Front Campus, across from Convocation Hall
- Game time, Oct 24 – 28, 8pm Eastern time, rain or shine (Plus games from Oct. 29 – Nov. 1 if we’re still in it!)
- Bring a blanket or low chair and dress for the weather
- Bring a friend — no tickets or RSVP required
Building Digital Confidence: Writing, Coding and AI
October 27- November 17 | 5:30-7pm | Recreation Room
A hand-on beginner friendly series to help students, professionals and lifelong learners build key skills in online writing with LaTeX/Overleaf, managing literary sources, coding with Python, and using AI tools like ChatGPT responsibly.

Indoor Gardening Series

Explore the world of houseplants! Learn to grow fresh microgreens year-round, discover orchid care tips, and get expert advice from a Toronto Master Gardener. Don’t miss the first UFH Houseplant Fair – show off your plants or enjoy the greenery as winter approaches.

Looking to connect with other families this winter? Bring your little ones to our Drop-in Centre for fun-filled indoor play. It’s a great way to stay active and build community. Due to limited space capacity, registration is required.

Sunday Iyengar Yoga (Ages 16+)
Sundays, October 26 to December 14
Relieve tension and quiet your mind. Combine physical movement with meditation and breathing techniques to centre and revitalize yourself. This program is open for all levels of experience and is a great opportunity to learn Iyengar yoga.

FCO x CIE Winter 101 for International Families
Monday, November 3, 2025 | 5:30-6:30pm | Activity Room, Multifaith Centre, 569 Spadina Circle
Join members from both the Family Care Office and the Centre for International Experience for a night of food, new friends and neighbours, and preparation for a Canadian winter. A family-friendly dinner will be served while we discuss how to dress for the weather and how to make the most of Canada’s coldest months.
