Lunch and Learn: Novice Driver Safe Driver

Facilitated by a Public Outreach & Education Office of the Ministry of Transportation. By attending this presentation, attendees will learn about:

  • The rules of the road, including key road user safety rules relating to impaired driving, speeding & aggressive driving, distracted driving and seatbelt use.
  • The Graduated Licensing System, requirements for each stage and how to advance through the process.
  • The best way to prepare for your knowledge and road test.
  • How to drive safely on the roads.

Women’s Wellness

December 2025 – January 2026 | Activity Room at 30 Charles Street W.

Take time out of your busy schedule just for you! Enjoy a breakfast and a weekly interactive session with on-site childminding provided. Put on by the Family Care Office, the Women’s Wellness series is an opportunity to pause and pay attention to your physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing.

There will be 3-4 sessions on Thursday mornings during December 2025 and January 2026 in the Activity Room at 30 Charles Street W. The sessions will include opportunities to connect with peers, facilitated sessions about healthy boundaries and relationships, a self-defence class and yoga and/or mindfulness practices.

Women’s Wellness is open to all women – trans and cis – and nonbinary people who want to participate in programming that centres women’s experience who live in 30 or 35 Charles Street, University Family Housing (students and partners of students).
