Maintenance and Operations Updates

35 Charles Kitchen And Washroom Hot and Cold Water Shut Off

Please be advised Building Operations is working with our plumbing vendor to tag domestic water supply lines for each individual riser line throughout 35 Charles. Each water supply riser line serves and consists of units which end with the same two digits (02, 04, etc.). These riser supply lines run up and down every unit line and distribute water to all kitchens and bathrooms for all units on that specific riser.

During this tagging work, there will be brief intermittent shutdowns of hot and cold water to kitchen and washroom on each riser as the plumbers will need to close a valve serving the riser line to confirm they’ve tagged it correctly. This tagging work will help ensure operational efficiency and quick solutions in the event of water related concerns in the future.

This project will take place between the hours of 9:00am and 4:30pm as per the schedule below:

Water interruptions will be kept as short as possible, and every effort will be made to restore service promptly.

Important:
Please ensure that all taps are fully closedbefore leaving your unit. When water service is restored, open taps can cause flooding. Floods have occurred in the past resulting in significant damage to units and personal belongings. Residents may be held financially responsiblefor damages caused by open taps.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this necessary maintenance work.
