Learn to repurpose old clothing and household items in our Upcycling Workshop. Join us for a rain or shine self guided tour of Allan Gardens Conservatory to explore plant life from around the world. Then put your sorting skills to the test in a fun Waste Sorting Competition with sustainable prizes to be won!

Not everything belongs in a landfill. With some creativity, we can make marvellous out of would-be discarded items. Come learn fun craft and other innovative ways of upcycling and repurposing old clothing and household items.

Allan Gardens Conservatory Tour

Allan Gardens Conservatory is an indoor botanical garden featuring 5 greenhouses displaying plants grown in arid, tropical, palm, equatorial and temperate climates. We walk to the conservatory to experience and explore the climate and vegetation of different world regions. This is a rain or shine event.
