Breakfast & Mindfulness

In collaboration with Student Life | Multi-Faith Centre, each session, we serve a light breakfast from 9:30 to 10:00 AM, giving attendees time to connect and warm up. From 10:00 to 11:00 AM, our instructor leads a mindfulness workshop. The series also features a raffle, with a chance to win items from the U of T Bookstore! Please register at least two days before each session.

Introduction to Mindfulness

Wednesday, 9:30am – 11:00am, March 18th (Recreation Room, 35 Charles)

In this session, we explore what mindfulness really means and how simple, moment‑to‑moment awareness can bring more calm, clarity, and connection into daily life. Participants will learn practical grounding strategies they can use at home, in relationships, or during busy family routines.

Mindfulness in Parenting & Partnership

Wednesday, 9:30am – 11:00am, March 25th (Recreation Room, 35 Charles)

This workshop focuses on bringing mindful presence into parenting. We’ll explore tools for responding rather than reacting, strengthening communication, and cultivating shared emotional balance within the household. We will also explore kid-friendly mindfulness techniques that the whole family can do together!

Self‑Compassion

Wednesday, 9:30am – 11:00am, April 1st (Recreation Room, 35 Charles)

Here, we dive into gentle practices that help us treat ourselves with the same kindness we offer others. Participants will learn how self‑compassion supports emotional resilience, reduces stress, and strengthens relationships through healthier inner dialogue.

Gratitude

Wednesday, 9:30am – 11:00am, April 8th (Recreation Room, 35 Charles)

In this session, we will explore gratitude as a powerful mindfulness tool for enhancing well‑being, connection, and overall happiness. Using simple practices that families, couples, and individuals can maintain, we’ll look at how gratitude shifts perspective and nurtures a more positive disposition and life experience.
