January 30 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Spaces & Experiences invites you to celebrate the Year of the Horse with a series of Lion Dance performances across campus, honouring the traditions of Spring Festival, Tết, Seollal, and Losar.
This vibrant cultural tradition symbolizes good fortune, joy, and prosperity for the new lunisolar year. Enjoy the powerful drumbeats, the skill of the performers, and the artistry of the lion costume.
The performance will be travelling across the St. George campus and making its final stop here at UFH on Friday, January 30th at 4:00pm on the outdoor podium deck at 35 Charles Street West. Please dress warmly as this is an outdoor event!
All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend. We’ll be serving up fresh popcorn and raffling off some U of T swag items! *Must be in attendance during raffle to obtain prizes!
